TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani has ordered the merger of the Free Zones Supreme Council into the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, a parliamentarian has said.

Mohammad Reza Pour-Ebrahimi, head of the Majlis Economic Committee, told Mehr on Saturday that the merger was one of the tenets of the 6th development plan that must have been accomplished in the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21, 2017 to March 20, 2018).
